Gunpowder green tea is a classic green tea from Zhejiang province, China. As the name implies, Gunpowder tea is made up of leaves hand-rolled into tiny pellets. These resemble gunpowder, and give this tea its distinct name. It is named by its origin in Pingshui town, Shaoxing county, Zhejiang province. Our boss Mr. Song Zheng is the 4th generation Pingshui gunpowder tea successor with more than 40 years’ tea experience who is also a tea taster. Blend Gunpowder tea with spearmint to create the famous ‘Moroccan Mint’ tea.
